Another knucklehead that thought: “They’ll never know.” has been caught
with his hand in the cookie jar, actually in the game’s eBank for virtual
Yes, this genius was entrusted with an eBank for EVE online, a virtual game
where players kill rivals in the distant future or some such nonsense. So,
this guy was the CEO of the virual bank that held the virtual currency of
thousands of the other players.
Seems he has a few offline financial difficulties and that he thought it
would be okay to simply STEAL the virtual currency and then sell it on
the black market. He stole 200 billion interstellar kredits. LOL. And
sold them for $5,100. A rather poor exchange rate there.
Now, he’s a virtual failure as well as a real world failure.
Nice move Einstein!
I bet his wife and kids are real proud of daddy now!
I do not know about you, but, I am sick and tired of Muslims, (and a few
other minorities), whinning, whimpering, sniffling because something somewhere
has offended their personal beliefs or whatever!
The latest is a Muslim that complained about the lyrics in an online game,
LittleBigPlanet, contained a few word from the holy text of Islam in it’s
He actually wrote to Sony:
“We Muslims consider the mixing of music and words from our
Holy Quran deeply offending. We hope you would remove that
track from the game immediately via an online patch, and make
sure that all future shipments of the game disk do not contain it.”
And Sony, being afraid of Muslims, complied.
Ironically, Sony’a action was put down by the American Islamic Forum for Democracy.
“Muslims cannot benefit from freedom of expression and
religion and then turn around and ask that anytime their
sensibilities are offended that the freedom of others
Wow, sanity coming from a Muslim organization? Cheers!
The political argument against legal online poker, is one of morality and
occasionally mentioning that citizens can not control their betting so
the government should prohibit their betting. Sounds like the prohibition
of alcohol era.
In the fist case, morality, the politicians are saying that online gambling
will cause a lack for morals in our society. Gamblers will rob banks to
pay their debts, gamblers will become alcoholics, drugs will become widespread,
etc etc. Does that happen with the brick and mortar casinos? How do they
In the second case, the government is just making this argument up due to
not having anything better to say. If citizens need the governments help
to control their spending, start with outlawing credit cards. LOL.
In any case, onine poker gambling has actually increased since the Unlawful
Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006.
Why and how?
Esy, when you deem something as ‘naughty’, more and more people want
to try it out. And although the US government has shut down all the US online
poker sites, online poker is still very legal in plenty of countries. The only hitch
is how the player will deposit into his offshore poker site account.
here is so much killing in the online massive mulitplayer virtual world games.
Sometimes it is killing monsters, sometimes it is killing aliens. and sometimes
it is killing other humans. It is easy to see why onine game players would kill
monsters and aliens; because they are monsters and aliens, but why kill other
You might say that most of the online games where killing other humans is set up
like ‘cops and robbers’, so the cops are shooting the robbers, but does that really
justify the killing? Does every thief get shot to death? And if the online game
is designed like a war from history, such as, WWII, like Midway, or whatever, then
the outcome is rigged, the Americans have to win and the Japanese are going to be
I think it is time that killing each other has a REAL strong reason, like religion!
Think of the crusades, where the Christians marched off to well…everywhere and
slaughter everyone that did not express a profound faith in Jesus, (everyone except
the young virgins). And the Christians, of course, get to keep the spoils of war.
This game would be SUPER MOTIVATING!!!
